The primary responsibility of the Auditor's Office is to assess all personal property within the County including vehicles, boats, campers, aircraft, and business personal property. The Auditor's Office also accepts applications for the Homestead Exemption Program for individuals age sixty-five or over, blind, or disabled.

The Auditor's Office is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. The office is located at 1437 Amelia St., Orangeburg, SC, in the County Administrative Centre. The telephone number is (803)533-6200 and the fax number is (803)533-5841.
