The Assessor's Office primary responsibility is to maintain accurate appraisal values for real property and mobile homes. This appraisal value is the basis by which your real-estate property taxes are computed. Currently, the County of Orangeburg operates on a 5-year schedule for re-appraising purposes as is required by law. During re-appraisal, property values may increase or decrease depending upon the market, condition of the property, and other factors. If you have any questions relating to the appraisal value of your real-estate property, please feel free to contact us by phone or via the contact form.
The Assessor's Office offers the following forms for viewing or download. If you have questions regarding these documents, how they should be filled out, where they should be submitted or anything else pertaining to them please do not hesitate to contact the Assessor's Office via the contact form. Forms that are filled out incorrectly or that are incomplete WILL NOT be processed!
