Welcome to Geographical Information Services (GIS)
The GIS Department digitally captures, stores, and updates all forms of geographically referenced information. This information is analyzed, plotted, and viewed through the use of computer hardware and software.
This geographically referenced information can be purchased in digital data or plotted format. Available coverage formats include an Orangeburg County Road Atlas, Cadastral Maps (tax maps, parcel boundary maps), Alphabetical Street List, Soil Types, Land Use, School Districts, Voter Registration/Election Districts, and Fire Districts.
