Information Services: Free and individual information assistance is available in the library. Queries about the collection and questions with short, factual answers also can be answered by telephone. Interlibrary loan:
The Orangeburg County Library will borrow materials not available locally from other sources. While this service is free in most cases, some out-of-state libraries may charge a fee. See a member of the information services staff at the main library for more information about this service, or inquire at any branch library. |

Public Access Computers: Public computers are available at all of the libraries in the County system. These computers provide access to the Internet, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.), and some educational games. At the main library, patrons under the age of 15 must use the computers in the children's department. Children under the age of 8 must have an adult accompany them at the computer at all times. |

Note: If a person abuses his/her computer privilege by not complying with the terms of the posted usage agreement, the privilege will be revoked for a period of time as stated in the library's Internet/Computer Access Policy. This policy is posted near the computers. |

Storytimes:
Story hours are held throughout the year for children ages 2-5.
Summer Reading Program:
During the summer, there is a reading program for children ages 4-12 at the main library, all of the branch libraries, and on the bookmobile.
Special programs:

Read with Me Program:
This program is available to day care centers in Orangeburg County. Nylon bags containing 50 pre-selected books are checked out monthly. Call Children's Services at (803) 533-5858 for details about this program.
