Application Procedure:   A resume may be included with your
application but may not be used as a substitute for a completed application. A
copy of the Orangeburg
County Employment Application can be downloaded and printed from this
site. The sections for the application that request employment and/or education
history, personal references, and the signature of the applicant must be
completed for the application to be accepted.
Hiring Process:   Applicants who are selected for interviews
will be contacted by the Personnel Director or by the supervisor of the hiring
department. An applicant who receives a conditional offer of employment will be
required to authorize Orangeburg County to conduct a background investigation
which may include verification of employment and education history, criminal
history, driving record, or other employment-related inquiries. A
pre-employment drug test is required.
