The Human Resources (HR) Department of Orangeburg County is committed to providing the citizens of the community with a diverse, competent, and professional workforce. The Department of Human Resources also provides a variety of services to employees of the County of Orangeburg. This is done so that employees are managed fairly, are well-trained, supported, and assigned job duties to accomplish the County’s strategic business goals in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

    • Provide, preemployment packet to prospective employees and schedule drug screens
  • New Employee Orientation (Back-up 1)
  • Pre-employment Screening:
    • Backgrounds
    • Drug Screenings
  • Proxy Card Replacement Recruiting:
    • Post New Job Requisitions
    • Review Applications
  • Unemployment Claims (Back-up)
  • Support Risk Services- clerical functions
  • Update all HR forms and replenish in HR lobby area
