This book is very short (69 pages), but don’t be fooled. This is a very heartwarming book about a father who goes off to be a doctor in Vietnam. His daughter has lots of feelings, and she wishes that a year was not so long. I recommend that EVERYONE read this book!
I feel that this book deserves five stars. It is about a teenage girl who is new at her high school and has a crush on the popular girl’s boyfriend. He also likes her. But somehow, inappropriate pictures get out on the internet. She believes that her faith in God can help her get out of this misunderstanding. This book is so relatable to the average teenager. I also love that the author incorporated God into her novel, because I am a Christian as well. While I was reading this book, it kept me on my toes because it was so suspenseful. I couldn’t help but reading page after page to find out what was going to happen next. This book is very well-rounded because it includes romance, religion, faith and suspense. This is my number one book.
Princess Sonora and the Long Sleep is absolutely remarkable. Giving the story “Sleeping Beauty” a twist, Levine makes her readers laugh with her outstanding, whimsical characters. This book should be read by all who like princess tales with a twist.
Surrender the Heart is a life-changing book. As the characters discover God’s destiny for their lives, the reader is made to consider his own destiny and heart. I enjoyed this book because it spoke of God’s love for everyone. If I could give this book more than five stars, I gladly would.
I feel that this book deserves five stars because it is a really deep, heartfelt story. I love the whole plot of the story. I love how well Angela Johnson used imagery when she would describe the simplest things. I love how she created the character of Bobby and the way he took responsibility for Feather. I would constantly reread this book.
This is a great book. No book has grabbed my attention as much as this one did. The action makes you feel like you are there. My only complaint was that the ending came too soon. Luckily, there are over 40 books by Ms. Erin about Warriors. Yes, please!
