Career
Captain James Green began his law enforcement career in 1987. Of those years serving as a supervisor. Green is responsible for the community and judicial services divisions of the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office. For the past nine years, Green has served the people of Orangeburg County as:
- Crime Prevention and Gang Specialist
- Field Services Deputy
- Supervisor of the School Resource Officers
Captain Green is one of our primary public speakers as he is charged with conducting education seminars on crime prevention and gangs, as well as conducting citizen academies to foster a interactive and cooperative relationship with citizens.
Education
He is a magna cum laude graduate of Claflin University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology/Criminal Justice Administration.
