William Ketcherside


Career

William Ketcherside began his law enforcement career in 2003 at the Santee Police Department. After spending two years in Santee, Ketcherside has served with the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office where he currently supervises crime scene and evidence processing. The past 10 years for Ketcherside have been in the forensics aspect of law enforcement.

Education & Training

Ketcherside’s training includes a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Columbia College with further training at the American Academy of Applied Forensics. Ketcherside has formal training in the fields of:

  • Blood Pattern Analogy
  • Crime Scene Photography
  • Crime Scene Reconstruction
  • Fingerprint Identification
