Orangeburg County Library Services

There are many services that the Orangeburg County Library provides to the Community:

Housing a collection of more than 3,000 books, the bookmobile is essentially a library on wheels. The bookmobile serves towns and communities throughout Orangeburg County. It also serves senior citizens at several locations in the county.

The objective of the bookmobile staff is to make library services available to residents of Orangeburg County who live at a distance from the main library or branches. The bookmobile staff concentrates on offering services to patrons and communities that have no other library service including neighborhoods, nursing homes, and shopping areas. For information on bookmobile service, call Extension Services of the Orangeburg County Library at (803) 539-2064.
